MEMBER ONLY SERVICES

'DROP IN' PLAY CENTRE
The Drop in Playcentre is open to all LCPC members. This 'come whenever you please' playcentre is for parents to meet up with their mothers groups, friends or to make new ones while their children safely play. Attendance is casual and the centre is unstaffed. Tea and coffee is provided. Supervision of children is the responsibility of the carer. Families clean up and tidy away after themselves.

Who: Children aged 0-5 years and their carers
When: Mon, Tues, Wed 9.00am-5.00pm (We aim to also offer this service on Thursdays and Fridays by early 2009)
Cost: $4.00 per family per visit (+ Membership fee)

'BABYPLAY' PLAYGROUPS
Facilitated by qualified Early Childhood Professionals, the group discusses the development of babies and toddlers. Parents/ carers and their babies interact with stimulating play-based experiences designed specifically for this age group.

Who: Babies and Toddlers 6 -15 months
When: Mondays 11.15 am - 1.00 (Will extend to more days early 2009)
Cost: $7.50 per session permanent, or $10 per session casual (+ Membership fee)

TEACHER LED PLAYGROUPS
Our playgroups (for children aged 0-5) provide an opportunity for parents to interact and for children to engage in stimulating and developmentally appropriate play experiences that are facilitated by an Early Childhood Teacher.

Who: Children 15 months-5 years
When: Mon, Tues, Wed 9.15 am - 11.15 am  (We aim to also offer this service on Thursdays and Fridays by early 2009. Waiting list now open)
Cost: $13.00 per family each session (+ Membership fee)



NON MEMBER SERVICES
Courses are available to anyone interested. Membership not required.

POSITIVE FRIENDS COURSE
Teaches social and emotional resilience; children attend unaccompanied and the course will be conducted by a Pathways trained qualified instructor. Those interested need to return a waiting list form to the centre, including age of each child to attend.

Who: Children 4-7 years
When: Mon/Tues 3.30 pm - 5 pm
Cost: $300.00 per child for a 10 week course

TRIPLE P PARENTING COURSE
A well-known and highly regarded program that assists families to find positive ways to guide children’s behaviour - waiting lists now open for next evening course. This is an 8 week course facilitated by a Triple P presenter.

Who: Parents, grandparents and carers of children of all ages.
Cost: $190 per person for 8 week course including individual consultations and workbook.

MEMBERSHIP
When visiting LCPC, families must sign in. Everyone who uses the member services at the centre after their first visit must join LCPC and pay the annual $25.00 fee (per calendar year).

WAITING LIST FOR FACILITATED GROUPS (TLP/BG)
The Waiting List is open for all facilitated groups. If you are interested in placing your name on the list, please download the Waiting list form, and post to / drop it into the centre.
Please indicate the group / course preference, carer's name and contact details, and names and ages of the children attending. We will be in touch once a place becomes available.
