Cameron Sutherland – Physiotherapist
Cameron has a vast experience in treating acute and chronic conditions in a variety of environments from office type complaints (largely neck and lower back pain) right through to elite level sporting injuries. Cameron prides himself on ‘fixing’ injuries where other rehabilitation has fallen short and prefers to take the necessary time to accurately assess and therefore apply the most targeted treatment.
He is passionate about his patients and dedicated to using only proven and cutting edge treatments with particular focus on exercise rehabilitation and hands on manual therapy techniques. Cameron is also an accredited health coach and is able to offer his patients extensive personalised health care advice based on the latest PH360 genetic modelling.
Cameron loves his sports, and has played most of them at some stage (with the injuries to show for it). He understands the mental and physical challenges associated with rehabilitation and whilst he insists on continual improvements in measurable outcomes he will always guide you through the process with care.
Cameron has enjoyed associations with numerous sporting organisations including the Souths Sharks (AFC), Aspley Hornets (NEAFL), Queensland Cricket U17s State Squad (QC), Flaming Chalice Cup – Queensland Premier Volleyball League (PVL) and has recently also toured in Africa as the Physiotherapist for the Iconz – Australian Representative Rugby Seven’s team.
As a principal practitioner at Praxis Physiotherapy Cameron is now looking forward to working within the New Farm Neighbourhood Centre offering high level treatment to all in a fun, relaxed and caring setting.
