Supporting older people and people with disabilities who live in the inner north-west of Brisbane to stay in their own homes is at the heart of our Aged and Disability Service. Our team of staff and dedicated volunteers work alongside people to help them maintain their independence.
Keeping Your Independence
We assist people who are frail-aged or living with a disability to remain living independently. We connect people to their community through a broad range of social activities that focus on healthy aging.
We can help people to attend appointments, to get to their local shopping centre and to continue engaging in everyday activities.
We can also arrange to help with grocery shopping.

Paddington Centre – Respite Services
Our Paddington Centre is located in the heart of Paddington and really is a home away from home for our clients. The centre is a place for support and friendship, activities and games, home cooked meals and an enjoyable way to spend the day in our newly renovated centre.
Included in a small daily fee is door to door transport, outings, activities, home cooked morning tea and lunch, diversional therapy and many more activities. We also have hairdressing and podiatry appointments available for an affordable additional cost.
The respite service is funded by DOHA (The Department of Health and Ageing)

Who is eligible for this service?
Anyone who is frail aged, has a disability, or is a carer, and lives in the inner north-west of Brisbane.
What does it cost?
Funding and the support of volunteers allows us to keep our fees as low as possible. There will be a small fee (from $2 – $15) for our transport service, depending on the distance traveled. Activity fees range from ‘free’ to $10, depending on the type of activity.
A day at the Paddington Centre is currently (June 2013) less than $20 per day which includes door to door transport, meals and most activities.
