A volunteer program initiated by Communify Qld and funded by DOHA. The service aims to enhance the well-being and the quality of life of frail aged, people with a disability and their carers. Volunteers are recruited and supported to provide social contact and practical assistance.

What do we offer?

The service endeavours to provide assistance where other established services or support from families and friends is unavailable.

Volunteers are available to visit or assist with shopping, basic gardening, transport in the local area, or to introduce people to activities within the community. Clients with high support needs may require the additional assistance of a Communify Qld staff member.

Information regarding other support services will be supplied if requested and referrals made as required.
