RAW (Real Adventure Women)  

RAW (Real Adventure Women) gives Brisbane women the opportunity to experience a variety of sporting and recreational activities in a safe, supportive and non-competitive environment.

As part of the Brisbane City Council’s Active and Healthy Lifestyle program it encourages women to participate in low cost ‘come and try’ activities.

Adventure Women

Adventure Women is an adventure recreation activity program for women aged 16 and over who live in the Moreton Bay region.

It gives the women of Pine Rivers, Redcliffe and Caboolture the opportunity to develop skills, build confidence and form new friendships while enjoying a variety of sporting and recreation activities in a friendly, supportive and non-competitive environment.

Adventure Women participants can experience thirty sporting and recreational activities including canoeing, archery, surfing, cycling, abseiling, roller derby and many more.

The 2009 Adventure Women program commences 1 March and runs to 31 May.
