Springboard – Dual Diagnosis Day Program
Springboard is a six-week alcohol and other drug treatment program for people with co-occurring mental health issues, who are seeking to access non-residential treatment. The program will run 3 days per week (Tues, Wed & Thurs) during school hours, while also supporting participants to structure the remainder of their week around positive, purposeful activity.
Springboard uses an Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) approach to build awareness, confidence and skills that will help participants let go of old habits and start heading towards a rich, full and meaningful life. Springboard teaches psychological flexibility, which is the ability to move towards your desired goals, even when difficult thoughts, feelings and situations arise.
The program is delivered in a group learning environment with sessions including relapse prevention, goal setting, recovery planning, Wise Choices, and physical activity.
Six week programs start April 4 and June 6, Spring Hill. For more details contact Daniel Baddiley on 0448 881293, 3308 4514 or email danielb(at)communify.org.au
