Door-to-door transport

The service includes:

• Individual transport to medical or other health related appointments.
• Scheduled bus trips for Communify-run events such as group therapy and activity sessions.
• Information on other community transport providers and options.
• Regular door-to-door assisted transport to a number of local shopping centres.

What areas do we service?

We service the inner-north western suburbs of Brisbane. See a list of suburbs here (PDF)

Some suburbs can be limited in options for pick up and might be only available as a group bus or taxi/Uber.

How much will it cost?

Our fees depend on the distance you travel and how you travel.

Our travel options include volunteer and staff drivers who provide group and individual transport options, subsidised taxi and Uber trips.

Who is eligible?

To be eligible for this service, you must:

• If you are over 65 years old, you must have My Aged Care and an individual transport code. If you are not on MyAgedCare and need help, our Communify Navigators can assist.
• If you are under 65, you must have a disability support pension or a referral from a medical professional with reasons you are unable to take public transport.
